This application is a proprietary internal tool designed exclusively for the faculty and administration of Jamna Vidyapeeth. We are committed to maintaining the confidentiality and security of institutional data and student records.

The Application functions primarily as a data management tool. It does not collect personal data from the general public. Data processing is categorized as follows:

• Faculty Data (App Users): We process login credentials solely for authentication purposes. No behavioral tracking or personal profiling of staff is conducted.
• Student Data: The application retrieves existing student data (Name, Roll Number, Class) from the school's secure central database. This data is not "collected" by the app but rather accessed to facilitate attendance marking.

3. Purpose of Data Usage

Any information accessed or generated by this application is used strictly for administrative and educational purposes, including:

• Digital recording of daily student attendance.
• Generation of internal attendance reports for school administration.
• Elimination of manual paper records to ensure data accuracy.

4. App Permissions & Device Access

To respect user privacy and device integrity, the JVP Attendance Tracker requires minimal permissions.

• No Camera or Microphone: The app does not access media inputs.
• No Location Tracking: The app does not use GPS or track the user's physical location.
• No Contacts/File Access: The app does not scan the user's personal files or contact lists.
• Internet Access: Required strictly to sync attendance data with the school's secure server.

5. Data Security & Storage

We implement industry-standard security measures to protect data:

• Authentication: Access is restricted to authorized personnel via secure credentials.
• Encryption: Data transmitted between the app and the school server is encrypted (HTTPS).
• Local Storage: Temporary session tokens may be stored on the device for ease of login. Passwords are never stored in plain text on the device.

6. Third-Party Sharing

Zero Third-Party Sharing: Student and faculty data is never sold, traded, or transferred to outside parties, advertising networks, or analytics firms. Data remains within the school's digital ecosystem.

7. Children’s Privacy

While this application processes data related to students (minors), the application is not designed for use by children. It is a tool for use by adult school staff only. All student data is handled in compliance with applicable educational data protection regulations.
